Easy orange and almond cake
A show stopper for the table!
- 150g flour
- 2 teasp of baking powder.
- 75g ground almonds
- 210g golden caster sugar
- 175g Connacht Gold butter (melted & cooled)
- 75g natural yogurt
- Juice of half an orange
- 3 eggs.
Prepare 26cm tin by greasing with butter and add a disc of parchment paper to bottom.
Simply add dry ingredients together then whisk all wet ingredients together and pour in , beating together.
Pour into tin and bake at 180C for 25 mins of until skewer comes out clean.
Decorate with caramelised orange slices and chopped almonds.
